Cedarcrest Manor's terms and conditions are posted on our web site and in the common entrance of the property. Making a web reservation or accepting keys to a unit acknowledges acceptance of our terms and conditions. The booking guest (also referred to as a "registered guest") is responsible for persons he invites or admits to the property and assumes complete responsibility for those persons.
A "booking guest" or "registered guest" is a person(s) during the specified reservation time who has reserved and pre-paid the deposit or a person who is the sole companion of the person who has reserved and pre-paid the deposit. No unregistered person(s) without consent of an agent of Cedarcrest Manor is allowed on the property. Cedarcrest Manor does not accept children less than 15 years of age or booking guest less than 18 years of age and maintains the right to require proof of age.
1.1 Reservations, Cancellations and Occupancy
Reservations require a one hundred percent deposit including tax for the entire length of the booking at the time the reservation is made by an accepted form of payment. Payment in the form of cash, check, or major credit cards is acceptable. A valid major credit card must be on file until any and all settlements are made after check-out, including usage, consumables, or damage.
All bookings are subject to a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee is determined by the date and time of the cancellation prior to the booking’s scheduled "check in". The cancellation fees are determined as follows:
- An 80% refund on cancellations 30 days or more prior to the reservation.
- A 50% refund on cancellations 14 to 29 days prior to the reservation.
- A 20% refund on cancellations 48 hours (two days) to 13 days prior to the reservation.
- There are no refunds given on cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the reservation.
Cancellation may be made by telephone or e-mail, at which time the booking guest will be given a "cancellation authorization number". No cancellations will be recognized without a cancellation authorization number. The cancellation number documents the date and time of the cancellation in our data base which is the sole determiner of the cancellation refund if any. E-mails are reviewed by 4:00 PM CST each day. If you cancel via E-mail prior to 4:00PM CST your notice will be posted as 4:00PM CST or earlier. Notice via E-mail sent after 4:00 PM will be posted the next business day.
Refunds will be issued within five (5) business days of the cancellation. Remittance of refunds will be made either via check or as a credit to the booking guest credit card account on file. Checks will be mailed to the address given at the time of reservation.
Group booking and rates are given for a single payer only, with that single payer assuming any and all charges related to the booking during the booking period as well as the sole responsibility for room assignments. The single payer for a group will receive access codes for each booked room and assumes the responsibility for distributing these access codes. Cedarcrest will not release access codes to any group member other than the single payer without specific written authorization from that single payer.
We reserve the right to accept reservations that are subject to a minimum stay over peak periods. During certain local events and national holidays special rates and conditions may apply.
Sleeping occupancy is limited to two persons per guest room. Additional person(s) occupying a room will result in a doubled room fee.
Cedarcrest Manor reserves the right to terminate a reservation or a guest's stay for any reason.
1.2 Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time is 4:00 PM Central Time. Check-in time is the time that the room and facilities are available to a registered guest. Early check-in on the reservation date without charge is acceptable if the room is available and all other terms and conditions have been met. Availability of a room for early check-in requires confirmation and arrangement by an agent of Cedarcrest Manor.
Check-Out is 2:00 PM Central Standard Time. Check-out is the required time a registered guest and any unregistered persons associated with the guest are to have vacated the booked room and facilities. Failure to vacate the room and facilities by the required time of 2:00 PM will result in additional charges. Fees for failure to vacate the room and facilities are no less than $25.00 per hour and no more than $75.00 per hour at the sole discretion of agents of Cedarcrest Manor. In the event that a guest and any unregistered persons associated with the guest fail to vacate the booked room and facility by 4:00 PM, they will be charged for an additional day's stay at the standard rate for the booked room. In the event of failure to check-out by 4:00 PM results in the displacement of another guest's room booking the additional fee will be 200% of the standard room rate for the booked room. All additional fees are charged to the credit card with which the reservation was made.
Late check-out is available without charge if the room is not booked and arrangements are made and confirmed by an agent of Cedarcrest Manor. Late check-out cannot be confirmed until the day of check-out.
1.3 Fees related to Damages and Missing Items.
Following check-out the booked room(s) is cleaned, inspected and inventoried. Any damage to the room or the room's contents and any missing item(s) will be charged to the booking guest credit card on file. The charge for damages, repairs or replacement items will be the direct cost incurred by Cedarcrest Manor plus $50.00 per occurrence handling fee.
Common areas are cleaned, inspected and inventoried three times a day, as well as being continuously monitored by a surveillance system. In the event there is damage or a missing item(s) from common areas, analysis will be made of the surveillance recording or an agents observations, if you or your unregistered guest are found party to the incident, either a) an assessment will be made for the damage or missing item(s) and be charged (as stipulated above) to the booking guest credit card on file or b) we will notify the proper authorities, or both.

Site and room amenities may change without notice.
Cedarcrest Manor does not warrant the functions or material contained on the web site to be uninterrupted or error free.
Pets are prohibited other than service animals required for person with disabilities.
Pool is available to registered guests only. There is no life guard on site, guest(s) swim at there own risk. We require that guest(s) act with due diligence and safety in the pool and garden area.
Guests are required to respect the privacy of other guests and act with due diligence regarding use of alcohol, moderating noise level and respecting common site space.
The gas fireplaces in each room have oxygen depletion sensors; additionally a carbon monoxide sensor is installed in the room. As a safely precaution we require that a room window be partially opened a minimum of one inch (1") during the operation of the fireplace. Guest are restricted to operating the remote radio access or the flame adjustment only, and are not to attempt to light, adjust or alter the fireplaces in any manner.
Smoking is not permitted indoors. Residual smoking odor offends non-smokers and lingers in fabrics and paints for some time and requires specific cleaning applications. Additional charges will be made to the guest to remove smoke residue.
